Botox Injection at Orchid Medical Center in Sharjah

What is Botox?

Orchid Medical Center, Sharjah offers expert botox injections for wrinkle and sweat prevention with authentic materials at the best prices.

Botox is one of the most prolific neuromodulators, a class of drugs often referred to as “wrinkle relaxers.” It is the most widely used on the market and the world’s first approved medication of its kind. It has been in use by medical professionals since 1989 and today is practically synonymous with anti-aging. Often, people use the word “Botox” to refer to other neuromodulators as well.

In 2019, more than 5 million Botox and Botox-like injections were performed. In 2020, despite the global pandemic that kept people out of medical offices, that number held strong at more than 4.4 million. In both years, as fillers became increasingly more popular, neuromodulators still beat out dermal fillers by more than a million procedures.

Our products at Orchid Medical Center

At Orchid Medical Center in Sharjah we offer our patients the original Botox brand:

BOTOX
The first and most studied brand of wrinkle relaxer, Botox, is best used to prevent and treat lines in the upper face, i.e. frown lines, bunny lines and crow's feet. However, it has also proven to be successful for other areas and concerns, including lip lines, gummy smiles and neck bands, to name a few. Am i a candidate for Botox?

Most adults over the age of 18 are potential candidates for Botox injections. Regardless of your age, gender, or skin tone, Botox may be suitable for you, provided you are in relatively good health.

If you are concerned about being too young or too old to start these rejuvenation treatments, it's important to note that there is no definitive age to begin.

Botox and similar wrinkle relaxers are used both to prevent wrinkle formation in individuals in their 20s and to soften existing wrinkles in more mature skin.

However, there are certain conditions that may preclude you from receiving these treatments safely. You should not receive Botox if you:

  • Have a known allergy to any ingredients in Botox.
  • Have an infection at the planned site of injection.
  • Are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
  • Are recovering from surgery

You can book a consultation with our specialist to discuss any further questions you may have.
